Cancellation Policy
How to cancel your SIYA MP subscription, when renewals occur, how billing cycles work and when your platform access ends.
1. Cancel at any time
You can cancel any active SIYA MP subscription at any time. There are no cancellation fees and no lock-in contracts on standard plans.
2. How to cancel
- Sign in and open My Profile → Billing, or
- Email finance@siyampglobalsystems.co.za from the address on your account with the subject "Cancel subscription", or
- For Enterprise, notify your assigned account manager in writing.
We confirm every cancellation by email within 1 business day. If you don't see a confirmation, the cancellation is not yet processed — please follow up.
3. Renewal timing
- 5-Day Trial (R160): One-off charge. Does not auto-renew. Nothing to cancel.
- Pro monthly (R816): Renews automatically every month on the anniversary of your first successful payment (billing_date). PayFast charges the same payment method used at signup.
- Enterprise: Governed by the term stated in your order form (typically annual).
4. When access ends
When you cancel, your subscription is marked as cancel-at-period-end. You keep full access to all paid features until the end of the current billing cycle you have already paid for. Standard cancellations are not refundable; refunds are considered only under the proven technical-failure process in our Refund Policy. Access then downgrades to the free tier and no further charges are made.
5. Data retention after cancellation
Your account and content remain available in a read-only state for 30 days after access ends, so you can export or reactivate. After 30 days we may permanently delete workspace data in line with our Privacy Policy. Legal, tax and PayFast transaction records are retained for the statutory period required by South African law.
6. Reactivation
Within the 30-day window you can reactivate simply by resubscribing at Checkout. After 30 days you can still resubscribe but historic workspace data may no longer be recoverable.
7. Failed renewal payments
If a scheduled PayFast renewal fails, we retry twice over 5 days and email you. If all retries fail, the subscription cancels automatically at the end of your last paid period. This is not treated as a punitive cancellation and you can resubscribe at any time.
